Air France (Paris), KLM (Amsterdam), Iberia (Madrid), Lufthansa (Düsseldorf), TAP (Lisbon) are promoting direct flights to and from Panama City.

Tocumen airport, one of the most important international airports in the region receives passengers from Europe arriving in the country on direct flights. Major European airlines have recently announced the introduction of new routes to the capital of Panama and the integration of new flights.

Panama expands its route network to Europe through Air France, KLM, Iberia, Lufthansa and TAP. Iberia increased to six weekly flights on the direct route between Madrid and Panama City and from last July the company offers a daily fligh. Iberia also operates from Madrid to Costa Rica, Guatemala and El Salvador.

The Portuguese airline, TAP, for its part, announced recently the opening of a direct route with three weekly flights between Lisbon and Panama. Lufthansa has plans to launch a direct flight between the German city of Düsseldorf and Panama City.

At these significant developments you can add the roads already opened and operated by Air France (three weekly flights from Paris) and by the Dutch company KLM (daily flight from Amsterdam).
